Arun Gupta recently joined Equifax as Senior Vice President, USIS Data Leader. In this role, he drives USIS data strategy while overseeing data acquisition, exchange management, keying and linking, and data stewardship. Arun leads EFX vision for innovation and transformation, underpinned by a strong culture of data quality. Arun is a global data executive with over 25 years of experience in financial services, specializing in enterprise data strategy, governance frameworks, and large-scale AI-enabled transformations. Most recently, as Divisional Data & Risk Officer and Head of Data for Capital One Business, he led the development of AI-ready data strategies, modernized data platforms toward future-state architectures, and enabled real-time data consumption. He brings deep experience implementing strong data observability, lineage, and control frameworks in highly regulated environments. Prior to Capital One, Arun led Innovation and Global Data Products divisions at Airlines Reporting Corporation (ARC), where he helped build and scale the world’s largest travel intelligence data platform by integrating more than 100 external data sources. During his time at ARC, Arun and his team helped triple the company’s equity in five years. He has been recognized for combining strategic vision with disciplined execution to deliver measurable, sustainable business outcomes. Arun holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and an MBA in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
