Equifax Small Business Indices: August 2021

According to the Equifax Small Business Insights for August 2021, the outlook for small businesses remains strong as the economy normalizes. In June 2021, the Equifax Small Business Lending Index (SBLI) rose 11 points to 155.7 (+7.6%) and increased 11.1% on a year-over-year basis. Meanwhile, the SBLI 3-month moving average inched up 0.3% to 155.4. That is a record high for the third consecutive month. It is now 27.2% above its level from a year ago.
