I received an Internet scanning alert, and only some of my personal information has been found online. Does this mean that I don't have to worry about it?

Regardless of what information is found, you may want to contact your credit card companies, financial institutions and, if applicable, the Social Security Administration to alert them you may be at risk of fraud or identity theft.

You may also want to review a copy of your credit reports to ensure that the information that appears is accurate and complete, and not a result of fraud or identity theft.
