Partnership Makes Data Assets More Readily Available for Businesses

August 16, 2021

IN TODAY'S RAPIDLY evolving marketplace, leveraging data to make better business decisions has become increasingly important for Equifax customers. The data, analytics and technology company is committed to meeting customers where they operate, which is why it works tirelessly to make data assets more accessible to businesses, while driving awareness of the differentiated data assets only Equifax can provide.

In line with this commitment, Equifax is collaborating with data marketplaces Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Exchange and Snowflake Data Marketplace to make select differentiated data assets available to business customers. These collaborations build on the Equifax Cloud™ strategy, harnessing the speed and security of the cloud to enable customers to more quickly access the insights they need to drive smarter revenue decisions.

Equifax has invested $1.5 billion in its world-class enterprise-wide infrastructure, which is specifically tailored to highly regulated data workloads. As the foundation of the Equifax business, the Equifax Cloud will enable seamless, secure delivery of data assets to AWS Data Exchange and Snowflake Data Marketplace, providing more ways to efficiently access Equifax data offerings.

“Equifax has reimagined and reengineered our tools, technology and assets in the cloud for optimal performance and customer benefit,” said Mark Luber, Equifax chief product officer for U.S. Information Solutions. “Making select datasets available through data marketplaces underscores our commitment to our customers, bringing the decision intelligence they need to optimize growth and better serve their own customers.”

Building on Equifax’s existing channel distribution strategy, these partnerships will provide customers with data that they previously may not have been able to access through their preferred platforms. Data marketplaces also provide the opportunity to drive greater awareness of Equifax’s non-regulated data assets. The solutions that will be made available through AWS Data Exchange and Snowflake Data Marketplace are anonymized, trended data, and Equifax intends to make multiple anonymized datasets available this year.

So far, the Equifax datasets now available on AWS Data Exchange and Snowflake Data Marketplace include U.S. Consumer Credit Trends macro-level information, anonymized Equifax Analytic Dataset™ consumer and loan-level credit data, B2bConnect™ commercial marketing data, IXI™ economic data, and unique property and housing data.

As a steward of data, Equifax is committed to security, compliance and governance across all distribution channels, including AWS Data Exchange and Snowflake Data Marketplace.

Equifax understands that smarter data insights drive smarter actions. These exciting new collaborations support the ongoing evolution of its channel distribution strategy, improving data accessibility and decision intelligence for customers.
