Potential lenders and creditors use credit reports as part of their decision-making process to decide whether to extend credit to you and at what terms. Your credit reports include information about the types of credit accounts you’ve had, your payment history and other information such as your credit limits. It’s a good idea to check your credit reports regularly for any suspicious activity.
