What is a Credit Score?

A credit score is typically a three-digit number and is designed to represent your credit risk, or the likelihood you will pay your bills on time. Credit scores are calculated using information in your credit reports. Your payment history, the amount of debt you have and the length of your credit history are a few of the factors that may be used to calculate credit scores.

You can see your 3-bureau VantageScore credit scores annually from Equifax® with a product upgrade to Equifax Complete™ Premier.

If you have an Equifax product that includes your VantageScore 3.0 credit score, you can view it in 3 places:

  1. Your Dashboard
  2. Credit section
  3. Journey section

What You Need to Know

Any one-bureau VantageScore uses Equifax data. Third parties use many different types of credit scores and are likely to use a different type of credit score to assess your creditworthiness.
