What type of information will I see in Equifax Credit Rankings?

Equifax Credit Rankings compares the information in your credit report to average figures we have compiled from anonymous records nationally, by state or by ZIP code for the following data points: Average Mortgage Balance and Payment, Average Auto Loan Balance and Payment, Average Credit Card Debt, Average Credit Utilization, Average number of inquiries, Average number of open credit accounts, and Average number of late payments.

How can this information benefit me? How can this information be used?

With this information, you can gauge where you stand in comparison to various statistical averages. Along with other important information such as your income and your credit score, this may help you understand how well your credit stands.

Where does the Equifax Credit Rankings data come from?

The Equifax Credit Rankings report data contains two types of data: personal data and average data. Your personal data is calculated from your credit report and used in your personal Equifax Credit Rankings report. As with the credit report, this data is private and secure. The average data is anonymous to protect privacy and is calculated from data files that represent people who live in various zips, states. In addition, a national average is provided.

I have Equifax Credit Watch Gold with unlimited credit reports. Will I be able to order the Equifax Credit Rankings?

Yes. You will have the option to purchase the Equifax Credit Rankings when you access your Equifax Credit Report through your Equifax Credit Watch product. Upon requesting a new Equifax Credit Report, you can purchase Equifax Credit Rankings for an additional fee.

I have already ordered an Equifax Credit Report™, Score Power®, 3-in-1 Credit Report, or 3-in-1 Credit Report with Score. Will I be able to add Equifax Credit Rankings to these products after purchase?

No. Equifax Credit Rankings can only be added with the purchase of a new Equifax Credit Report, Score Power, 3-in-1 Credit Report, or 3-in-1 Credit Report with Score.

How can I order the Equifax Credit Rankings report?

You may purchase the Equifax Credit Rankings product as an upgrade with a new purchase of the following products: Equifax Credit Report, Score Power, 3-in-1 Credit Report, and 3-in-1 Credit Report with Score.
