Client Surveys

One of the key ways Equifax DBS gathers client feedback is through an annual client survey process. We conduct the survey to gauge how well we're servicing our clients. Equifax DBS has built a tremendous client base and has received industry recognition as a top performer, but our goal is to make sure we continually improve ourselves to meet our clients' evolving needs.

The surveys are distributed anonymously to all levels within our clients' organizations. The goal is not to obtain client-specific feedback, as we have other mechanisms for that purpose, but to glean actionable Equifax DBS-specific learning.

The survey is simple and takes just minutes to complete. We start with the most important question: whether the client contact "would recommend Equifax DBS to a friend or colleague?" This critical indicator helps us strive toward 100% client advocacy. After all, we want all our clients to feel comfortable recommending our services to their friends and colleagues. Such referrals reflect on the quality of our working relationships.

Next, we ask fourteen questions that relate to behaviors we consider key to achieving 100% client advocacy. These questions help to measure our clients' perceptions as to whether we're pro-active, trustworthy, consultative, forthcoming and ethical in our ongoing interactions with them. For each of these questions, clients rate us on a scale of 0 (never) to 4 (all of the time). This measure allows us to understand our performance on a more granular level than a simple yes/no response could provide.

Once the surveys are complete, the results are analyzed by a cross-functional team. We apply benchmark comparisons to prior years, opportunities for refinement are identified and action plans put into place to meet those goals. For both Equifax DBS and our clientele, the client survey has proven very effective in gathering key inputs for core improvements.
