United Way

Through our annual employee-led United Way campaign (in the U.S. and Canada), we are able to help thousands of nonprofit agencies extend their missions and touch the lives of millions. In 2008, Equifax donated more than $600,000 to U.S. United Way organizations and more than $130,000 to those in Canada. We are consistently included among the United Way’s top corporate partners.

Education

Through national programs like Communities In Schools and Big Brothers Big Sisters, and local programs like The Magic House (in St. Louis, Missouri), Equifax is committed to helping young people thrive and develop through diverse learning experiences. Employees throughout the world are committed to education.

Underserved Populations

Equifax believes that everyone needs a helping hand from time to time. We strive to empower those in our communities through a hand up with initiatives that help individuals and families achieve the dream of homeownership (i.e., Habitat for Humanity), provide food for those in need (i.e., Hosea Feed the Hungry) and more.

The Arts

Art fuels economic growth, helps children succeed in school, provides exposure to diverse cultures and brings people together. It energizes, empowers, inspires, teaches and motivates. Our employees donate time and money to help sustain and expand arts programs in Atlanta and beyond.

Giving

Equifax offers employees the opportunity to double their financial impact with our Matching Gifts. Through this program, Equifax matches employee donations to 501(c)(3) organizations, up to $5,000 annually. Additionally, we make numerous financial gifts annually to nonprofit organizations through the Equifax Foundation.

Volunteerism

Equifax offers (full-time) employees eight hours of paid time annually to volunteer with any Equifax-sponsored charity.

The Environment

To minimize our carbon footprint, Equifax offers eligible employees Flexible Work Schedules and Telecommuting options. Additionally, we encourage recycling and offer coffee cups and other products made of recycled materials at our offices.
